Issues:
Thank you cards/letters
Transportation- Gator/ golf carts to transport me from one plane to next
Food- will need to snack as I ride
Water
Port-a-Potties
3x5 cards with the “numbers” for each airplane
Time to climb to pattern altitude…
Waiver?
Airplanes without parking brakes will have to have a way to safely keep airplane stationary while I get in.
Tail wheel tie
Chocks with long ropes to pull
Constant comms with ground crew
Method to record all comms
Headset remains in airplane- will need at least two. One to pre-stage as I fly so I don’t’ have to “look” for jacks.
PREFLIGHT
Each aircraft will need to be thoroughly inspected prior to flight as I will have no time to actually preflight each aircraft immediately prior to my flight.
Holding short each aircraft owner/pilot will complete all run up checks, mag checks, etc. and ensure that oil temps, are in the green, fuel on proper tank etc.
Parking brakes must be easily Identifiable
NOTAM for airfield
FAA
Insurance
ID tags for the volunteers
STORY- Every airplane has a story- I’d like to have a brief history of all the airplanes involved, especially the unique ones. Will need someone to consolidate all of the stories and edit them. Possibly and best would be a reporter from a magazine like AOPA.
